For the better part of the year, I have been attending Mike’s shows with friends at Gramercy Theater in NYC, the BB&T Center in Camden, recently at New York’s newest venue at Pier 17 and at The Fillmore in Philadelphia. I have been a fan of Mike’s and of Linkin Park for as long as I can remember and have attended shows since 2007, including Madison Square Garden, the PNC Arts Center and more. I’m also a former moderator for the fan club, Linkin Park Underground, but the friendships I have formed over the years with people around the world is quite amazing. The one thing I will say is I’m very fortunate to have such amazing friends in my life. I can always count on them to listen, to observe, to be supportive of one another. When someone falls down, we’ve picked them up. That was something our friend Chester was very adamant about, was helping others.
Below is a collection of photos and video from Pier 17 and The Fillmore. I don’t consider myself a concert photographer by any means but I’m very proud to have captured these moments. I’m thankful to have met Mike twice as well in West Babylon at Looney Tunes and at Pier 17. Thank you Mike for accepting my art, I hope you’ve had the chance to read my letter too. You can read about the Gramercy experience in my blog. Me and my friends have one more performance of Mike’s to see at the Barclay’s Center on December 6th. We’re looking forward to it.
